Two American soldiers inside Al-Taji camp

On Saturday evening, a Katyusha missile landed on the Taji camp, where US forces are in Iraq, without any casualties.

Iraqi media reported that an explosion occurred near the Taji camp, north of Baghdad, as a result of the Katyusha rocket, and no party has claimed responsibility for the attack until Saturday evening.

And the camp of Taji is exposed from time to time to missile attacks adopted by pro-Iranian militias, with the aim of igniting tension between the Iraqi government and US forces, especially as the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington continues, which determines the future of American forces in Baghdad.

The camp, north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, was attacked on March 14 by Katyusha rockets, which killed two American and British soldiers, according to local media.
