Snap Partner Summit said on Thursday that the first games that will benefit from the Bitmoji cartoon characters will be launched soon.
Snape announced the feature last year, and it appears that developers can now take advantage of the feature's SDK, which will allow users to play games that are its protagonists through their Bitmoji characters.
Although this feature is not completely new, it is similar to the feature (Xbox Avatars) from Microsoft Xbox Avatars and (Mai) Mii from Nintendo, but the feature (Bitmoji Games) Bitmoji for Games will be characterized by being cross-platforms, as it can be used in phone games Portable, gaming platform games, and personal computer games.
Snape said: The preliminary list of games that support the feature will only contain smartphone games running Android and iOS. This includes a number of games, such as: Nickelodeon Super Brawl Universe, Playsoft, Mattel Uno, Scopble GO from Scopely and a game to be announced soon by the emerging French company Voodoo.
The company indicated that users will have to link their Snapchat accounts with games in order to be able to use Bitmoji icons in third-party games.
Also, Snapchat announced today that it has added more games to the Snapchat app. Join previous games that can be played with friends while chatting. Among those games was developed by Snap itself, including games developed by external companies.
According to the company, more than 100 million Snapchat users have been playing these games since their launch last year, and on average, users prefer to play Bitmoji Party which allows users to compete with their friends in mini games, and they spend about 20 minutes in the game on a daily basis.
Snap said: It plans to launch its new game Bitmoji Paint in the coming months, a game inspired by the famous game (Minecraft) from Microsoft.
In the coming months, the company also plans to add other games, such as: Bumped Out from Zynga, Friend Quizzes from Game Closure, and Ready Set Golf! From PikPok, and Sling Racers from Madbox.
